Position: Amazon and eCommerce Sales Manager

Reports to: CEO

Position Overview:

Seeking a highly competent and experienced individual to join our team as an Amazon and Online E-commerce Manager. This position will be responsible for managing and enhancing our company's presence on Amazon and other online e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce sales, excellent written and verbal communicationskills, and a strategic mindset to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales, improve product visibility, drive traffic, and enhance customer engagement on online e-commerce channels/marketplaces.

2. Manage product listings, ensuring accurate and optimized content, including product descriptions, imaging and pricing.

3. Conduct regular performance analysis of online marketplace channels, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer reviews.

4. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats, and adapt strategies accordingly.

5. Identify and implement strategies to improve product visibility and search rankings.

6. Monitor competitor activities and marketplace trends to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.

7. Collaborate with the eCommerce team to develop and execute campaigns specific to online marketplace channels.

8. Develop and implement promotional campaigns and pricing strategies to drive sales and maximize profitability.

9. Conduct market research to identify new product trends and potential expansion opportunities.

10. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and e-commerce trends to propose innovative solutions and maintain a competitive edge.

11. Manage the company’s online presence by monitoring website analytics.

12. Onboarding New marketplaces.

13. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as purchasing, operations, and customer service, to ensure smooth order processing, fulfillment, and post-sales support.

14. Ensure orders ship within the allotted marketplace expectations.

15. Work closely with third-party vendors, such as logistics providers and software platforms, to ensure seamless integration and efficient operations.

16. Select and implement automation tools to increase productivity on marketplaces.

i.e.: spiders, ticket system, deal vetting

17. Monitor, analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, profit margins, conversion rates, and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions and implement continuous improvements.

18. Stay informed about changes in Amazon and other e-commerce platforms' policies, rules, and procedures and adapt strategies accordingly to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in managing and growing sales on Amazon and other online e-commerce platforms.

3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

5. Proficient in using various e-commerce management tools, analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

6. Knowledge of SEO and PPC strategies to optimize product listings and drive traffic.

7. Experience in negotiating with vendors, managing budgets, and analyzing financial reports.

8. Familiarity with fulfillment processes, inventory management, and order processing systems.

9. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

10. Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
